This hourly service provides funding for individually tailored supports that assist with the acquisition, retention or improvement of skills related to living in the community. This hourly service is designed to assist/instruct individuals in adaptive skill development, assistance with activities of daily living, community inclusion, transportation, adult education, social and leisure skill development, personal care and protective oversight and supervision. Living expenses such as rent and groceries are paid by the individual. Service costs are paid by Medicaid and the State of Iowa.
